The current generation Acura MDX model is longer and taller in comparison to its previous version and it has the wheel base of 2750 mm. The overall length, width and the height of the car are 4844 mm, 1994 mm and 1733 mm respectively. The curb weight of the sports car is around 4548 lbs. It allows accommodating up to 7-passengers and it has the ground clearance of 8.2 inches.
The head room and the leg room in the car provide sufficient space to both the front and rear seat passengers as well as to the driver. The fuel tank in the car has the capacity to hold up to 80 liters. With the powerful engine equipped, the sports car can achieve fuel economy of 15 miles per gallon in the city premises, while it can achieve 20 miles per gallon on the highway roads.
The sport model has offers more upgrades for the 2009 Acura MDX and also two new added colors. The towing capacity of the new model is around 5000 lbs. The safety features available in the sports car include curtain side air bags that cover all the rows, front side air bags, antilock brake system, traction control and antiskid system.
